DCI is a family owned company, specializing in manufacturing high
quality furniture for residence halls. We have distinguished ourselves as a
leading supplier to colleges, universities, and government agencies for more than twenty years.
By forming lasting relationships with our customers we assure our products
continuously evolve to meet the requirements of today's residents.
Henry Kober started the company in 1975 working out of a small shop with three employees. Today DCI has customers worldwide.
Operations now include a team of over two hundred employees, with headquarters in New Hampshire and factories in North Carolina, and California.
We also operate a sawmill in Vermont, giving us total control of the process from start to finish.
We have a strong commitment to maintaining environmentally friendly practices in our manufacturing process.
We use select hardwoods from state regulated forests, and insure optimum yield in our rough mills.
Our company does not use any rainforest species, and our finishing system emits zero VOC's into the atmosphere.
Through out our history, our mission has remained the same. "To be the best supplier of residence hall
furnishings and services to colleges, universities, and government agencies."
